We propose a new approach for assessing microstructural properties of materials via nondestructive testing (NDT). This lies on the observation that, accounting microstructure within materials, reveals nonclassical band propagation pattern Love waves. Precisely this structure may be directly related to internal microstructure. To illustrate this, waves is first investigated linear theory couple stress with micro-inertia.
